What Watt Heater Would I Need For A 39gal

well its in the title really lol, got a new tank but no heater just found out how many gallons it holds but dont know what size heater i need can you help?

i would go for a 250w dont skimp on heaters.

Isn't a good rule to follow 5w per gallon.

most heaters hear a like a dollar more for every 50W so i would go for like a 250 or 300.
