What Water To Use In Nursery Tank ?

I am preparing a little nursery tank as I have 8 molly fry in a breeding trap in my tank at the moment and want to move them to it.

I have set up a box filter with some filter media out of my main tank but I'm not sure whether to use dechlorinated tap water or water out of my large tank, what do you guys and girls suggest ?.

It depends on the maintenance routine of the tank they are in. If you are doing water changes of 20% every week or so go with half tank & half tap. If you are doing larger water changes, on the order of 50% or more weekly, start with all tap.

Thanks very much Tolak I will do half and half as I change 25% every week nowadays.
