What Was Your First Ever Fish?

just wondering what that first ever fish that kicked you off to fish keeping was.

personaly mine was a goldfish called peter.

Lol all in goldfish I guess its one of the most popular beginer fish . But how ever I think it also is one of the best looking fish as well. I love red oranda probably in future I be keeping them again. Gotta love the dumb looking gold fish .

I had a goldfish along with a crayfish and some smaller feeders for him in a 10 gallon starter kit from petland.

Probably zebra danios, but it's a long time ago. Strange that the poll does not list these or those other commonly recommended starter fish, the platys. No livebearers at all, in fact; I'd have though they'd be a lot more common than large predators.
