what type of tank?

[new to fish world]

i'm trying to decide on a small tank (10gallon). i like the styles available in acrylic but i am wondering about durability, the plastic getting scratched etc. also, is one type of tank harder than the other when it comes to maintaining temperature? mostly i am thinking in the heat of summer that perhaps the tank will get too warm. any one got feedback on these concerns? thanks.

I personally would go for glass. It looks nicer, easier to clean algae off of, more durable to scratches, i just like them better.

I lean toward glass tanks myself. They are more durable in the long run and possibly less expensive too.

I've heard that acrylic scratches easily too. Definately prefer glass.
