lmao @ this thread, how different we all are and how cool is that
I grew up round music, my dad was a record promoter in the 80's and I love my 80's music
But I'm now married to a dance music producer and I also am a music publisher myself, I collect royalties basically, so with that in mind I am incredibly biased, I love my Drum and Bass because all my clients are Drum and Bass producers, figures really. I love my old skool too, was a proper devoted raver from 16-26 and love the dedicated pirate stations at the weekends, for a bit of nostalgia
The music I hate is opera, death metal, gabba and country
I don't like rap so much but there's some pretty good hip hop and R&B about - I would much rather listen to a broken beat than doosh doosh doosh 4/4 crud so I don't like Techno or House, Hard House isn't bad but Funky House eugh... my other half is a Hard Dance producer so that does my nut in as you can imagine though he is crossing over to D&B which is cool
