Hi there

By checking out a few websites, it appears that my black sailfin molly has an internal bacterial infection. His poo is sort of clear, and has the appearance of an "empty sausage" skin.

What med's would I need to treat him? And since I do not have a hospital tank, nor the money to buy one, is it ok to put this stuff in with my other fish?
After some reading, I found that some users have used Interpet No 9 to treat internal bacteria. However...can this be used while cycling?

Thanks!

Anti internal bacteria med by interpet.

Clear poo can also mean the fish it running on empty, internal parasites.

Signs of internal parasites are.
Long stringy white poo, or clear mucas poo.
Enlarged anus, red inflamed anus.
Fish will look skinny or bloated.
Sunken in belly.
Bent spine sometimes.
Fish will sometimes swim on its side.
Worms prutruding from the anus.

Sorry you are in canada. I would try and get a maracyn med if you think its bacterial.

It's always good to have a hospital tank.

Just make sure the fish are showing no signs of internal parasites.
Good Luck.
