hey guys,could anyone tell me about the behaviour of female platiies jus' before they give birth,one of my females is pregnant(almost bursting ).what i mean to ask is do they do a certain thing before,like wiggling or go mad round the tank???plz help some one?? thx rooooobarb
Mine will often go up and down the side of the tank endlessly then stop and position themselves at about a 45 degree angle in the water before having a fry. The main thing to watch for is that they are almost square in shape and they are doing things they dont normally do that is a sign that somethng is about to happen.. HTH
