What To Stock?

ok, i have my 70litre tank for about a year and today redecorated it, i used to have 2 red line torpedo barbs and 11 zebra danios in it, now i only have the two babrs and 2 danios left, i dont know what happend the other 9 danios they just disappeared?

anyway, i really need more fish now, i was in the shop today and seen a lovely male fighter and wondering what i could stock.

any suggestions would be greatful, and they need to gowith my barbs and danios, names and bumbers as i really dont know, i want some nice fish. could i get a fighter? what are they compatable with? ive artificial plants in the tank.

Not a good idea to put betta with other fish,he will kill your other fish or the danio will shred his fins. red lines need a bigger tank than 70liter,they need 4-5 feet tank for good swiming space.

Correct, there are a few suitable tank mates for the Siamese fighter, but I wouldn't risk it with those.

A couple of options might be some honey gouramis? They look nice. Or possibly a trio of apistos. (1male 2female)

The zebra danios like to be in groups of 5 or more, so I suggest you up the numbers again or you get rid of them altogether and try something else.

In either case, you can add some cories for the bottom, and a trio of honey gouramis, or as already said some dwarf cichlids. Another interesting option is a trio of killifish for the top.
