What To Stock ?

I have a 35Gal tank that is currently just sitting around doin naff all lol so i am wantin something interesting to stock.
I would like somehing i could breed and have seen rams, kribs and apistos but for some reason they just dont interest me at all.
Are there any others that would be suitable if not what could i keep by itself in there ?

You could try some dwarf pike cichlids, they seem quite interesting. Also there are more varieties of small african cichlids to choose from if a standard krib isn't interesting.

What other small african cichlids are there ??
I know of kribs and jewel cichlids but didnt think there were anymore ?

Kribs are nice fish but they just dont interest me at all mate.

keyholes? rainbows? i used to have a rainbow pair they were quite entertaining to watch + they colour up nicely around spawning time =) (but they are herbivores so they strip plants )
