I have a fishless 10 gallon tank all cycled and ready for fish set up. I also have a 20 gallon tank set up with tiger barbs, danios, 2 dwarf gouramis and some platys. I am looking to add just a little more to my 20 gallon and i really like the following fish:

- Black Phantom Tetras
- Kribensis
- German Blue Ram
- Black Ruby Barb
- Cherry Barb
- Guppies, Platys, Mollies and Endlers

What would you all recommend out of the above to put in my 20 gallon, I am keen on a pair of kribs or a pair of german blue rams. Also would any of those be ok in my 10 gallon. Open to suggestions of other fish too. :)

The rams won't be good in either tank and I'm not sure about the kribs. Livebearers will work but not mollies because they're too big. How many tigers and danios do you have? Also how'd you cycle the 10 gallon?

Why wouldn't rams be any good in a 20 gal, the minimum a pair must be is 70 litre mine is 98 litre. I have 5 of each.

I'd remove the danios completely from your tank as they need a longer tank.
I think with the stocking you have in the 20 there should be enough action in it already. How many tiger barbs and platies do you have in there?

EDIT.
Just seen you have 5 tiger barbs in there. The require larger numbers.

Because German blues need a low ph around 5, soft water and high temps. You need to look at the stats not just tank size.
Also a pair of bolivians is no good because they need 30 gallon minimum for a pair.

Right thanks for that i think kribs are ok though

I can't help you there all I know is they can be pretty territorial but that's all I know.

I have had 5 tiger barbs for months and they get on really well in their group and other tank mates.

I know guppies endlers, and plates will not mollys cherry barbs and black rubys should and MAYBE black phantoms but that's just out of my knowledge so I'm not sure.

That may be the case Guppi32011 but they're aggressive and keeping them in the suggested numbers decreases aggression to other species in the tank. They're more than likely to have internal fights than fight with other fish.
Keeping fish is about getting things as close to their natural habitat inside a glass box, its hard but we have to really try the best we can for the wellbeing of the fish.
I think its nicer to see fish in a larger group (those that can be kept in groups) than have a tank full of different fish.

I absolutely agree my tank isn't bare there are lots of plants and hiding places. I have made it as natural as possible and it's fun to watch the tiger barbs swim off and chase each other and then return to the pack and swim in their group. They look really content. :)
