If your plec's a common, he'll need to be out of there pretty soon. I would add anything else until he is to be honest, as plecs are poo machines.

What genders are your guppies and what types are your cories? What is your tank habitat like i.e sand or gravel, well planted or sparsely planted, caves or open spaces etc? Do you know what type of plec you have?

I have a common and it is well planted and has caves and some open spots! The common is not a poop machine he is good!

Yeah from what i hear 12" is a minium size

Common plecs can reach 2'+ so you need to rehome it or buy one hell of a bigger tank.
