basically, just got my nano tank, and not really decided what to put in it yet, so if anyone has any ideas, suggestions etc, as well as what's worked well for them, i'd really appreciate the help :)

basically, im going to set it up in the next week or two with a bed of aragonite, and probably established live sand (severla years old, with fanworms, small starfish etc) from my LFS, as well as anywhere from 8-15kg of well-cured live rock, which should be ample

my basic requirements are:

easy to keep, ideally ones that can survive on flake from an autofeeder if i hav to go away for more than a day or so:
non-agressive,
hardy
colourful
active is also good

i was looking for a few fish, a few cool inverts, maybne a few tough soft corals such as mushrooms, xenia etc

i can get pretty much anything available in the trade from TMC, which is the biggest provider of marine livestock in Europe and is within easy travel times and i can go with the marine guy from my LFS to pick out my livestock, which i think is really good

ik was thinking a few swimming fishes
a colourful wrass, a goby/bleeny, couple of shrimps, some snails, small crabs, thats about it

but, in short, i have an open mind and so any suggestions are welcome

and just checking over my post, i apologise for the small party smiley, it wasn't intended, but, and i hope u agree, it does add some life to the post

:-

Good wrasse genera for small tanks include most of the animals commonly labeled as fairy wrasses, flasher wrasses, and possum wrasses. Good gobies are, frankly, all of them (Gobiidae; watch out for the "imposters"). Blennys are a bit trickier, but the fang blennies are probably your best bet. Check out a website such as wetwebmedia.com or liveaquaria.com for more info.
