Thanks for the replies. (Sorry I didn't reply earlier.)

I have always wanted to get some angels, but do they or don't they make good community fish? (I'd like a community tank.) I also wanna get a large shoal of Cardinal tetras cuz they look real nice! (So that also goes against having angels.)

I've heard angels can be savage at times so don't know if I'd like to have them or not.

I might go for some Pearl gourami's or Banded gourami's as I like the look of them and they are a larger fish, but do they get on with Cardinal tetras?

okay firstly... YES ANDY! lolz...

secondly, angles make great community fish, yes they are agressive eaters but if with things such as black neons or skirt tetras, the feeding won't be an issue... I've had guppies with an angle before (though not for long as the guppies attacked him -newbie years-) and they lived fine for a while... but I don't recommend anything nippy with angles... Tiger barbs, despite the bad reputations they have of nipping fins are fine usually so long as they're kept in a large group, I had originally 8 tiger barbs with my angles and never in 3 months have I seen a nipped fin on the angles... 4 tigers have died since 3 months ago and yet the remaining 4 still won't mess with my angles...
