What To Feed Platies

I have platies. I know you should feed them flakes and dried bloodworms. I have been feeding them flakes once a day and want to begin feedding them bloodworms. Do I feed them a couple of bloodworms in conjunction with some flakes or on the days I feed them bloodworms I shouldn't feed them flakes? Also, how often should I feed them bloodworms?

I am by no means an expert, but mine have flakes most days and bloodworms or tubifex once or twice a week instead of flakes.

They eat everything though, and also don't mind a bit of cucumber or the algae tablets that are meant to be for the otos.

Bloodworm should be used about once a week. Well it says that on my dried bloodworm. Not everyday.

My Platys LOVE brine shrimp!!
I can't get them to take to tubiflex. They really don't seem to like it.
I haven't tried the bloodworms yet.
