What to do?

OK so we had a batch of fry about 8 months ago who are all doing well, 6 in total. anyway, we have 1 male (probably 2) in the tank and the rest are female - all mollies bar 1. anyway in the last 3 months weve had 3 sets of fry, actually make that 4 in the last 4 months. we managed to keep 1 from the first set, 7 from the next and then last week we found around 8 more fry. then we get back from a holiday today and find at least another 7 fry.

my question - i dont have enough tank space for all these fry if they all grow up and i already have a 2nd tank (5 gallon) with fish in it. What am i meant to do with all these fry?

I don't know what to tell you. This is what usually happens when you have Livebearers, unfortunatly. Can your fish store take any? Or you can post in the Buy Sell and Swap section here, and see if anyone wants some...

And you might want to seperate the males and females, if you haven't already....

some people find a LFS that will accept them, also ask around to friends/family/etc. ... you never know who is into fish as well.

i know what you mean once i offerd 1 of my friends to have some adult guppies ..... no no they didnt want them but the fry the same friend was so excited to getting some
