What To Do With....

Throw it away. it unless when it drys up.
Only affective for up to 2 to 9 days anyway.
You only need to use black carbon for removing meds. Using it all the time is a complete waste of money.

im confused isnt the good bacteria tht get rid of amonnia inside my filter media? ive had this media in the filter since i got the tank/filter?

Black carbon sponge will be black, rough looking with holes.
Blue or white sponges are usually your benefical bacteria sponges.

What are you treating for as you don't usually remove your filter sponges. Only if you are using antibiotics.
All you usually remove is black carbon.

anti fungus/finrot, i have the black coloured holey one inside tht they told me to use in filter, and the little blue kidney shape box things with little stones inside what do i take out soooooooooo confused :(

The black one with holes sounds like your black carbon.
Not sure what the stones are.
Post in tropical discussion, more members go over there.

Post your pics in tropical discussion. Not familar with this type of filter.

The anit fungus and finrot med not very good on finrot.
Myxazin by waterlife a far better med for finrot.
Also some fish have had bad reactions to the interpet anti finrot and fungus med.

I think zeolite cartridges are black carbon.
I would post in tropical discussion. Get more help there.
Dont want you removing the wrong sponge.
