Recently my Black Molly had fry, and I found four. They are really cute, I have them in a breeder net and they are happy and everything.

What I want to know is, what happens when they grow and can be with the other fish? My tank is too small to hold them all when they do grow and even if I buy a bigger tank, will the fry start breeding with each other or the mother?? I... don't really want that to happen.

I have thought about giving them away... but I really love them a lot.

Any advice would be great.

The fry will breed with their mother or between themselves. You could try asking if any of your local fish shops will take them, some do, or an advert on Preloved/Craiglist/whatever's in your area.

If you're in the UK then a site called Aquarist Classified might also be worth a try.

Thank you for the advice, I think I will try to find friends or someone I know personally to take a few of them, It can't be too difficult, there are only 4 of them. As for the pet store, The only two I know are a small little one and the big petsmart, but petsmart doesn't take them and the local store doesn't take care of their fish very well. I don't want to put the fry through that. :(

You could always try ebay or freecycle and get a second tank and keep them.
