What To Do With Biowheels

Hello...I'm going to move my 55gal tank to the dining room today. Gona put the fish(3 danios 5 tetras and an algae eater)into a bucket filled with tank water and the airstone. What should I do with the biowheels? Its a penguin 330.Just take the wheels out and place them in the bucket or should I place them in the fridge? Also how should I clean the decorations? I figure about 2 hours max till I get the tank moved and water back in. I dont want to loose to much bacteria on the biowheel so what should I do? Thanx!!

Bucket of tank water should be good. I use a toothbrush in tank water to clean decor. Make sure it's an old one. Algae yuck.

Put the cartridges and substrate in buckets of tank water if possible, too. That way you have most of your bases covered.
