What To Do With Babies

Hi,

I've just been reading the livebearer section and it is all about having babies. I didn't realize that they have babies so easily and was wondering, what do you do with the babies. I don't plan on having more than just the one tank at the moment. Do you give them to people, sell them to the pet store....?

Oh yes, babies all the time! You give them away, back to the store, let them fend for themselves and get eaten buy more and more tanks and still they keep coming!

Female livebearers can have fry up to 6 months after they have been in a tank with males. They store sperm and can keep reproducing without a male. If you don't have room (or money) for more tanks, you just have let them fend for themselves. Some will make it but most will get eaten.
