well... my betta had no signs of trouble... until i gave him a bit of brine shrimp... then he was belly up

was it the shrimp that got him? it was the first time he'd ever had any. Common betta. But then again, it was from petsmart, so numerous things coulda been wrong. but there were no signs...

well. i just got the most beautiful on i think i'll ever see.... it's fins can make it look 4x more size than it usually is, and boy was he fistey. flared up more than the crowntails, and he's a comb tail (i think that's the porper term)

I've had on again, off again luck with frozen foods like brine shrimp and blood worms. I swear it was what killed a few bettas a few years ago. I'm trying it again because of the loaches - and I think with bettas you have to be careful that they don't overeat (which they will), and that the food is completely thawed before feeding it.
