just put 4 plattys into my tank then i noticed this, there's about 5 if not more, i have no idea what they are

Hard to be certain from that pic, but it looks like a red ramshorn snail to me.

Do you already have loaches? Don't go buy some just because of a few snails.

+1 they'll only get to pest conditions if they have enough food, if there is only a few then pick them out if you don't want them in there.
