What The?

I was at my LFS on Friday and I was looking at the rhyukins. Real pudgy ones too. However, I noticed a few green circles on them. Sticky algae? I took a closer look and it looked like a very small green flat horseshoe crab with no tail. It had some brown specs on it. They are about 1/4 inch in diameter. Anybody know what these things are?

the are fish lice aka Argulus
easy enough to remove (with tweezers or thumbnail) and easy to treat with the correct medication

How was I trying to humiliate you? How do you know that I am not Jewish and take offense to improper spelling of a religious word that has its root in Hebrew?
