I put my male in one side of the divider and my female, Hope in the other side. But I went to go eat some putting (I love that stuff) but when I came back my female had wiggled her way under the divided(she is very small) but she made her way to the males side. lol I put her back in her side. A rock was under the divider and that how she got to the other side. But I changed around so now Royal and You Beta are in one divider tank and Penny and Hope in another.

Not sure but I now have 8 and I am taking the divider out of one and using my male Royal as a desk betta.

Do the bettas have at least 1 gallon of water?? I remember you saying once that the "tanks" you kept them in were only like twice the size of the little cups you by them in in the stores...

I don't know! But I am getting a bunch of em and taking the dividers out for the bettas. Soon...

how big are the tanks? You might want to get another divider- these things usually happen more than once- my guppy always jumps in my fry tank (although he knows that he hates it) so you may see it happening again-possibly soon  . Also, what are your stats? I've heard of fish trying to escape from tanks because of ammonia stats that were higher than 0.

I'm sorry but how can you not know the size, you can at least take out a tape measure and find out the dimensions, or take pics and show us and we'll be able to help you with the size

geez guys, it was supposed to be a funny story and instead everybody jumps down her throat about the size of her tank. How do you even make that leap from "fish slipped under the divider" to "how big is the tank"? It's hardly relative.

starynightxxi your totally right, i didnt even notice what we were doing until you pointed it out. FBTgirl sorry for posting unrelated topics. -_-

if im correct they are those ones that are bowfronted and its like 3/4 of a galon without the divider. If these are the tanks id suggest buying more and taking the divider out.

So changing the topic is more of an issue then the fact that her bettas are more then likely not in proper living conditions bases on what she's said in the past?

Stop arguing please. I did not mean to make so much trouble. sorry,

Jaded do you not think I treat my bettas well?

you said in a post once that the fish are in "small bowls" another post you said the tanks were "about 4 times the size" of the cups you got them in. When the minimum tank size for a betta is 1 gallon, and it sounds like you keep them in significantly less then 1 gallon, its bound to make people question how well you care for them...

Found one quote

I know 2 of them are not 1 gallons only just about twice the size of the cup.

cracker's said he's got fish in about 1/2 a gallon of water, his fishroom looks like this http://www.fishforums.net/index.php?showto...88445&st=16, and he's claimed to be lazy about cleaning tanks. Do you regularly attack him in the forums, and especially in threads that have nothing to do with tank size? Because if you don't, then you've no right to attack FBTgirl either.

but hey, whatever, i'm not going into this any further, it's only drawing things more off topic.
