I was filling in some water today, and I saw some brown dots on my net breeder which dosen't touch the water, i didn't take much notice of them, but when the water hit them, they started jumping around in the tank, on top of the water! There is probably over 100 of them, and they are light brown in color, and about half of a millimeter long. What are they? I haven't done a water change in 2 weeks, which I know isn't that long, but I usually do once a week. Please Reply quickly on what I should do.

P.S. They have a body shape that reminds me of a beetle. They have 6 legs on their sides, and two semi-short antennaes on their head. (Sorry don't have any pics)

I had something similar on my light, if I was you i'd just dip the breeder into the water and you have yourself some live fish food. They just seemed to disappear from my light.

Yah, I dont see the harm in them, and my top-dwellers are in delight right now, trying to pick off the little bugs!
