I chose 55 gallons since it's closest to my dream tank, a 75 gallon bow front.

i'd personally really like the 2 100g tanks. that way i could have a tank for big fish and another for little fish.

one massive FW planted and one marine (getting bored of this plant stuff) at either end of a big lounge.

i'm getting close to that now got a 55 uk gal & a 60 uk gal corner tank one at each end of the room, plus my 13 gal fry/cory tank & the 28 gal in the dining room.
need a bigger house now lol

I agree with Jimbooo there. 1 planted, 1 marine. I have future plans to get 100gallon marine. I don't think I'd ever have more than 2 tanks. Its too much time/effort involved.

Same here, though my personal tank limit is 3.

1 planted, 1 marine, and 1 rift lake.

I don't like 55g tanks though. Way too narrow for planting or rockwork IMO.

I will play devil's advocate. I chose 4 55s. All planted. 2 Asian, one S. American, one West African. I would divide one 55 and house some of the smaller wild bettas in their own little habitats. Or house true giant bettas.

Not big enough to house an arrowana, but I could keep oscers in one.
It'd be sweet..

I picked two 100g's, I'd prefer two 200g's though But 100g is enough for a few big species.
