I have decided to definately get a nursery tank, I love all this babies stuff they are sooooooooooooooooo cute. I now have 13 that I rescued and put into a net. :kana:

I was thinking of 12 x 8 x 8 inch tank. If so how many babies could it hold with out being overstocked???? :dunno:

Also if i start off my small tank with the water from my weekly water change how long before I can put the babies into the new tank.?? :S

Look forward to hearing your advice guys. Thanks in advance :kana:

Gallons would be more useful than measurements....
Basically the bigger the tank, the longer(and faster) the fry can grow out in it. A 10g could house 30-50 fry but could only grow out 8-10 adults. Right now I keep my newborn guppy fry in a 5 gallon with just a heater and java moss and they're growth rate is spectacular. When they hit 3 months they'll be moved to a 10 gallon or the 25 gallon adult tank. So at 3 months old they'll be big enough not to be eaten by mom and dad. :)
