So your looking at...
4 guppies
2 swordtails
1 shark
2 BN's
2 Rosy Red Minnows

Separate Tank
1 Betta
3 Feeders
2 Snails
Live Plants

Is that the groups your asking about?

I'm afraid you'll have to separate the betta from the guppies otherwise the chances are he'll attack them (that's presuming you're getting a male - I don't know much about females!).

As for size I've always been told to go for about 12 square inches of surface water for every inch of fish at their max size (other's feel free to correct me on that - it's just what I go by!).
so ....
guppies x4 = 10 inches (take away about 1/2 inch for each male)
swordtails x 2 = 8 inches
BN = 5 inches (ish)
Rosy Red Minnows x 3 = 6 inches
Shark - well it really depends on what type of shark you're looking at. For something like a ruby shark or red tailed black shark I think you're looking at about 5/6 inches.
So ... that makes about 35 inches. So I'd look at getting something about 3 foot by 1 foot for those ones and then a separate tank for the betta. Hope that helps - sorry I'm useless at gallons/litres etc - I'm only really competent in the use of inches as a guide! lol

sorry i i was un clear i want to put them all in the one big tank but I will choose other fish if ppl thinks these r not sutable

Big tank
4 guppies
2 swordtails
1 shark
2 BN's
3 Rosy Red Minnows
1 Betta male (optinal)
2 Snails (may seperate if i have to put Male betta in tank by self)
1 Betta female (only if i put male in my 5 gal tank)
Live Plants

if I was not able to keep all the fish on the one big tank i also have a 5gal tank which i would put in some of the fish from above these would b the

1 Betta male
1 of the 2 snails
and whatever ells ppl sugested from my list above

I hope this has made things more clear

the tanks i have at the moment are one thats about 5 gal and another that is about 2 foot by 1 foot

Well I would 100% separate the betta and the guppies - Because of their fancy tails betta often mistake guppies for other male bettas and will attack them!

The snails would definately be fine to move into the 5 gal with the betta but I'm not sure you've got enough space for any of the other fish - maybe one of the BNs!?

By my very vague calculations a 5 gal would be about 12x8 (LxD) inches (is that about right for ur tank??). In which case you could prob squeeze in the BN or maybe think about a small group of pygmy corys (they're what I intend to put in with my betta :))

You wouldn't be able to have the shark if your largest tank is only 2ft long, the smallest growing type of shark fish i know of is a red tail black shark and that fish needs at least a 3ft long tank.

Swordtails need to be in at least trios as they are sociable fish, if you have a male you need at least 2-3 females for him, male swordtails cannot be kept together in mized gender groups unless there is a huge amount of females between them (like 15 females per male, which would obviously overstock your tank).

Male guppys can be kept together though in mixed gender groups as long as you have at least 2-3females per male.

Rosy Red Minnows tend to do better at cooler temps so would not be that ideal for your tank, they do best in shoals too.

How high is your 2ft long tank?

I dont know I got it of a friend as a b'day present I'll have to go fill it and find out

To convert 54 liters (L) into gallons (g), multiply by 0.26412, like this: 54 liters (L) × 0.26412 = 14.2625 gallons (g).

however that is with room left at the top if I was to fill it to the brim it would be

To convert 63 liters (L) into gallons (g), multiply by 0.26412, like this: 63 liters (L) × 0.26412 = 16.6396 gallons (g).

I hope this helps
calculations a 5 gal would be about 12x8 (LxD) inches
my 5 gal is hexagon shaped so I'm not sure
