What size pellets should Platys have?

I’ve recently gotten into fishkeeping a month ago, keeping a couple mollies and platys together. I switched from flakes to pellets just yesterday. My mollies are eating fine, but all of my platys are spitting them out, which i’m assuming means they’re too big. The pellets are 2mm right now. Does anyone know if I should get 1 or .5? I’m afraid of getting one that will be too big, or too small that will cloud my tank.

I give my platy these:

She also spits them out but goes back afterwards and pecks the pieces off the floor. Fish can sometimes spit out food before eating it again so that it is a more appropriate size for their consumption.
