What Should Platy Poo Look Like

Ok so following on from my post about one sick platy. I've now been worrying. What exactly should a Platy poo look like. From the first day I got them at Maidenhead Aquatics they have had white stringy poo. It sometimes hangs there then drops off. I hope to god this is normal and not parasites.
 
I'd not feed them for a day or two, and hen feed them some lightly cooked, shelled peas crushed up. Then you'll be able to see what their poo looks like then. It sounds prety normal to me though.
 
White stringy poop is a symptom of internal bacterial infection (sometimes internal parasitic infection too). Healthy platy poop should be brownish in colour (though its colour can be affected by fish flake dyes). It shouldn't have bubbles in it, be white or stringy. Platys can produce some very long poops but when the poop drops off it should drop off completely.
