Hello all. I have 3 tanks and I have no idea what to put in them.

Well I have a 2 gallon with 7 platie fry in it.
A 29 gallon that is set up with a few goldfish but isnt cycled yet. (if I had a beachrock from my friends tank will that help speed up the process)

I want to make this into a tropical fish tank. What fish would agree with eachother and not hurt one another. Like is there any type of sharks (maby colombian) that wont hurt the fish. What are other cool fish that could go in this tank. :dunno:

I just bought a ten gallon as well and I have no idea what kind of tank to set up with it. I dont want to do another tropical with the same fish as my big one. And I cant handle a salt water because of price and the time spent on keeping one.
anyone have any suggestions on what I could build with it and what kind of fish to put in there? :/ :fish:

thanks so much guys
steve

well you can make a 10 gallon a livebearer tank, get a bunch of mollies, platies, guppies, swordtail and maybe a few cories. and for the 29 gallon, you can get some gouramis, i would get a pearl, schools of tetras, like neons or cardinals, maybe barbs. or you can get some cichlids, they're really beautiful or how about angels?

Well the 10 gal is easy....Dwarf Puffers. The 29 gal you're going to have a few more problems mainly cos goldfish are cold water fish and you want a tropical set up.

for the 29 gallon tank I would add a small school of zebra danios or neon tetras (3-8 of them) then get 2 or 3 gouramis of your choice I would recommend any kind of dwarf, honey or lace the other kinds are semi-agressive from what I've heard. Then I would get a small school of cories, then you could maybe add some other kind of schooling fish or maybe an algae eater HTH

u can get tetras, brabs, rasboras, but if you get barbs make sure u dont get any any fish with long fins or anything, you can get danios but IMO they look kinda ugly and tacky hehehe :p

for the 29 gallon, imo, you can get gouramis, angels and lyretails. the 2 gallon keep as a fry tank, and as for the 10gallon, i suppose you could keep a selection of different tetras.
