ive just got a 5ft tank by 1.5 ft x 1.5 ft im going 2 put in in the garage for now will the heater in the tank be on all the time cos its cold in their or will it be ok ?

Where do you live? UK? how cold does it get?

I guess you will also need to consider the power output of the heater. Its one thing to maintain a temperature, but you have to know if you can get the temperature there in the first place.
