What Shall I Add...

Hi there
I was wondering what I could add to my 50gal, which currently houses 5 black widow tetras and 5 silver tipped tetras, I want to add a bit of colour, but as I just want this to be a fairly simply, peaceful tank, I was thinking along the lines of red platys or something. I have bogwood and lots of plants and I just think there needs to be a bit of colour lol. The tank is fairly new, a few months old btw.
Any other ideas??

EDIT: Forget to mention that I also have 3 corys lol and a small BN plec

Chequerboard may not be the best colour but put tose with the blue rams mentioned above and they would be stunning.

Yeah, I never thought about rams lol, I've kept them before - very pretty fish. Thanks!
