id just liek to say that these forums are suppose to be for help and general chat?
how are people suppose to learn and get the best and give the best for there fish with ppl moaning about what people write? thats how i see it anyway sorry if ive inconvinienced you all

Yeah, i must day you wont get too much hep with it being in a brackish forum ;)
Er you could try a South American Puffer/Assel....no gurantees that it would be okay with your angel as no puffer is community safe!

Ok, since you're here to learn about fish...

a normal neutral PH tank

That is not a brackish tank. Like, at all. A brackish tank is not a "normal" tank in the sense that it contains a substantial fraction of sea water in it. As a result, brackish tanks are almost always quite alkaline--meaning a pH well above neutral.

Because brackish water tanks contain lots of salt, you should NOT keep "angels n loaches etc usual community fish" in a brackish tank. It is very bad for most of those sorts of fish.

Thus there is 100% absolutely no point in you asking about what brackish water puffers can you keep in the tank you described. Because the answer, just based on the definition of brackish, is "none"!

As for freshwater puffers (try in Oddballs, next time), the vast majority of them are NOT suited to a general community setting. They tend to use their famous teeth to eat fins, maim small fish and generally wreak havoc.

The only exception to this is a few select specimens of South American (Asell's) Pufferfish. These are hardy little fish that should be kept in groups, don't claim territories and require a heavily decorated tank. If SAPs are not kept in heavily decorated tanks, then they tend to become neurotic and are much more likely to attack other tankmates.

However, because SAPs don't recognize territories, they are not compatible with most cichlids. This is because the cichlids will attack the SAPs every time the puffer enters the cichlids' territory. The SAP will not understand that these areas are forbidden and will thus be constantly attacked.

Angels are particularly notorious about territoriality and grow to be much, much larger and tougher than SAPs. Thus, you should not keep SAPs with angels.

Therefore, the answer to your question is still: there are no puffers suitable for the tank you described.
