nothing in mind, i didnt't think there would be much in a tank of this size just wanted to know what really, is there anything that comes to you or is there loads as i don't know much about predatory fish. the tanks already stocked with community so its for the distant future reallywhat type of fish to you already have in mind? Have you seen any specifically that you are interested in?
110L is small for a true 'predator' but you need to define exactly wehat you mean.
i didn't really have anything in mind but now thinking about it is there anything snake snaped that could fit. sorry i carn't be more accurate ha and thanks for the replys alsoonly thing that pops into mind is puffers who love to munch on snails......not sure if that is the type of thing you are after though.
You might be able to get away with a small group of Humphead Glassfish and/or Golden Wonder Panchax. Another alternative that springs to mind from my fish are African Butterfly Fish (but not a good mix with Humpheads, who might nip fins and also stress them out when feeding aggressively), you could have two or even three, as long as each fish has ~30cm square of territory.
Each of those three species will readily eat other fish when adults. My group of Humpheads are the prime suspect in hindsight for eating half of my Pearl Danio group in the space if <48 hours, when I added the Pearls to my 5-footer last summer, absolutely gutted as I had raised over half the group as tank bred fry. I was not aware of their piscivore nature at the time, whereas I know my ABF and Golden Wonders would eat juvenile Pearls or similar sized fish when they matured (but at the time these were all <6cm long themselves, whereas the Humpheads were 6-8cm SL).You might be able to get away with a small group of Humphead Glassfish and/or Golden Wonder Panchax. dont these all predate on insects though? I think the OP is looking for something that eats fish.....that's what I take from the 'predator' tag.
i like this suggestion but my ph is around 7.8 in my area is this too high?Channa Orientalis?
I kept a pair in a tank that size and they bred and raised their young. Wonderful fish?
+1 for this , one of the hardest species about, plus theyre easy to look afterto be honest dwarf channas will live in most water and thrive
