What Plec Is This Please

Here is my new pleco i bought slashed rescued today can someone tell me what type he is?

Looks like an L001 to me

Will get to 8" and needs are the same as other 'common' plecs, eg veg and algae wafers along with a mix of meatier foods sometimes

It is in a 55g tank with mbuna are they quiet common??? how much should i of paid for him???

Definitely an L001/L022, (L022 is lighter colored then L001 but the same plec) Glyptoperichthys joselimaianus They can grow muuuch larger than 8" being a sailfin pleco (where'd u hear 8"? Maybe there's something I don't know..lol) But as far as I've heard they get biig, over a foot, I have a little tiny one, who will be a monster one day You eventually need a biig tank for this pleco.

P.S. Cute lil eyes on yours I love the criss-cross eyes that L001's have.

L001 isnt a sailfin... L083 Glyptoperichthys gibbiceps is a sailfin.
