:/ Any suggestions on live plants for my new 46 gallon tank? I want something easy to grow and that requires low lighting. The tank has a 25 watt fluorescent light that's on for about 12 hours daily. The theme of the tank is the ruins of Atlantis, with a large temple, columns and a cliff. :D

I would also appreciate a little advice on plant care if anyone has something to offer. Thanks! ;)

Sounds like you've got the regular All-Glass bowfront. If so, I have the same tank, and ran it with the original light for about four months.

Hornwort, hygrophilia polysperma, and crypt wendtii did great.
Marimo balls did great, but didn't grow much (this might be normal for them, though).
Anubias and java fern did pretty good.
Java moss and amazon swords did ok.
Watersprite did so-so. Grew fine in the water, but couldn't keep it rooted to the substrate, because the bottoms rotted off.
Pennywort did so-so, too.
Cabomba grew like mad, but got very leggy trying desperately to reach the light -- I wouldn't recommend it.

:D Thanks for the graet suggestions!

That tank is an All-Glass bowfront and I'm glad you have the same tank as I do. ;)

I have the same tank and mine is more on the cheep high tech end of things. Check out this link. You can find all sorts of stuff on planted tanks on the tacked to the main page of gardens. Take a look and ask your questions.
