As i am starting my tank again I thought it would be fun to make it really green!

I have noticed that a lot of tanks have the bottom completely covered by small green plants, as my tank isnt very tall I would love to get a collection of plants in there that would stay under 3 or 4 inches!

Can someone please tell me if these are ok and what they are all along the bottom?

Carpeting plants tend to need C02 injection, quite a good current and good fert regime. Saying that, i'm growing HC 'cuba' in a nano 20ltr at the moment with just Floranaxis. The first photo looks like 'glosso' IMO a hard plant to carpet an aquarium with. The second looks like ?Ludwigia arcuata? a stem plant, so you'd again need the above to keep the plant nice and low. The last pic is HC 'cuba'.

IME Riccia is a good plant to start out with when carpeting an aquarium.

have a read of this...
