i thought it was a crypt at first then i started to doubt myself because the roots are really thick and strongDefinitively roots. Could be a echinodorus or cryptocoryne type.
i dont think its a peace lily i checked that already and it doesnt look like any of the pictures i found plus its been under water for the last 2 months and its growing new leaves every other weekSpathiphyllum sp. is a rhizome plant. It is non aquatic and will rot away in water.
im in 2 minds if its a crypt or an anubiasits not a peace lilly the leaves a wrong imo also peace lillys will grow in water as long as the top of the plant emerges
