i would say amazon sword cus it will have a good hold to the gravel bc of its roots

I have 2 outlets in my tank, one of the outlet, the water dropping down from top and I have java fern close to it. The second outlet is horizontally lying down at the bottom of the tank, I have some hair grass close to it. :)

If you are trying to hide the outlet, I would suggest tall plants such as Vallis to be planted (preferably behind the rock). The choice of plants also depends on the amount of lighting available. How much light do you have in your tank?

well it is the length of the hood. prob about 28 inches long. sure it is 18 watt is that enough?

the plants in the tank are thriving...

Good to hear that your plants are thriving. You have around 1W/gallon which is considered as low light. So look for plants that will thrive in low light conditions such as Anubias, Java fern, crypts, hornwort, egeria densa, etc.

I would have said salls, if you can get them to grow.

BTW that plant in the front center with the red and green variegated leaves is non-aquatic and will die in a few weeks, best to remove it before it does and pollutes the tank :)
