hi,
sorry if this question boars you.
i have got a community tank set up in the living room its only 101 L but its big enough for me its got the basic mollies and guppys and that in.
The only problem is i want another tank. Id really like to keep some mbumbas is that the spelling . But the only spare tank i have is 17 inch by 9 inch by 9 inch roughly 5-6 gallon with no heating or lighting just an undergravel filter.
as im not allowed another tank down stairs misses says so. The only place i could put one is on the book case in my computer room and i think the maximum size would have to be 2 fool long and 9 inch wide, i dont want to spend to much money any ideas on what i should do get a new tank or uise the old 6 gallon one or what?

after reeding the posts here looks like i cant get mbumbas, so what do u recomed i do?
cheers matt

maybe look at some shellies?
like multifasciatus, these are very cool fish!! :)
you can keep a couple in the 6g I think, although not everyone may agree with me on that...

I don't think there's any cichlid that can be kept in a 6g....
