I have 7 glofishtetras and 5 albino corys ph is 6.6
what can i add to this 20 gal high
thanks

If you add anything else increase your corydoras and tetras. Other than that maybe shrimp and snails.

Increase the numbers of the type you have. There is not enough room to add another group :) of you want one that will shoal with the GloFish but look different get black or white skirt tetras. I would aim for a total of 9 tetras and 9 corydoras

I’m loving my group of ember tetras. They are tiny little guys and very active. They need to be in a school though

Aside from schooling fish do you think a couple of powder blue dwarf Gouramis would mix well?

Dwarf gouramis of any colour that have been bred in Asia are likely to be already infected with an incurable disease. If yuou can source them from a local breeder, that's different, but dwarf gouramis bought from an LFS in the US will have come from Asia.

Honey gouramis do not have this disease, maybe look at them instead.

Thanks. Is that to say that Red Gold Honey Dwarf Gouramis as well as Honey Dwarf Gouramis dont have this disease? If so how many of each should I get?

Be wary of any red honey gourami. Theyre hybrids with thick lips which arent as peaceful, so may not do so well in a group in a 20 high.

Would not put in a slow moving species like gourami in with skirt tetras (your glofish tetras). They can be nippy and gourami can be buttheads.

If you up your tetras... i wouldnt add anything else. Skirt tetras can get pretty big as it is. One of my girls is 3 inches long, which is pretty big. Mine are kept in a 20 high, i got 6 and they are a good size once full grown.

I agree, add more skirt tetras :good:

Thanks for your response..My tank now has three white skirt tetras ,two black skirt tetras, two glofish tetras ,and 7 albino corys.
Figuring at most I might add one or two glofish tetras for additional color. What are your thoughts? Thanks
