Well livebearers breed so fast because they are not so picky to breed like other species of fish. They will breed under almost any conditions(but does not mean to treat them bad). Also livebearers females can store sperm. Which means by them getting preganant once by a fish they will be able to give many births out of that single time they mate. About fry being with swordtails in a tank, the fry will get eaten by the swordtails if they dont have a place in the tank to hide or be protected.

i got back from my LFS with to sliner molly and now how do i breed them i know theres one female and one male.

Well Livebearers are very easy to breed. Just have a male and female. They will breed by themselves. But to have heathier fry you can feed them live foods. :D

i really wish i chould have 2 more but my tanks full. oh well molly fry get along with swordtail fry?

Your tank is more then full. You need to get rid of the Plecos, Clown Loach, and Silver Dollars. Some of your fish will become aggressive later on, and some of those fish need bigger schools, so you need to sort out those too. Once you get that figured out, you should bump up your ratio to 2-3 females per male. It's very hard on the female to have the male constantly bugging her, and only her, and you may not get fry of it, considering she may be very stressed. If it's too bad, you risk her dying. Also, Mollies need slightly brackish water, so that's another consideration.

Have you researched any of these fish?

yeah i did do research but they said it whould be all fine. well i will keep the loach in tell hes big. and give back the sliver dollor. and the pleco will go back when they get big.

Ah, fish store advice. Bad advice at it's finest.

Unfortunatly, the fish won't get big in there. You risk stunting them at an early age, which is pretty damaging for the rest of their life. I'd start looking for homes now. And any plans for the Mollies and brackish water? The other fish won't tolerate it well...

well here are my plans i get a 120 gallon tank to but all the fish that dont need salt and keep everyone. and the ones that do need slat i keep in the 29 gallon. and the get a 10 gallon fry tank. hows that sound?

120 could work, but it still might be a bit tight if you have the silver dollars in a school, gave the loaches a school, and had the commons, plus the other fish. I still think you might have too many fish, if you have them ideal numbers.

Other then that, sounds fine. :)

ok what if i just put the sliver dollor in the ten gallon by them selfs? oh never mind that wont work. i will just give the slivers back.
