what brand of food should i use to bump up my flowerhorns bump???
hes about 5 inch + tail

i'd go for the higher protein frozen foods such as bloodworm or blackworm if you can get them. live earthworms and blackworms would probably also be appreciated, but stay away from feeding live vertabrates (they tend to carry disease if storebought ). your FH sounds large enough that he might like some chunks of raw shrimp and other "people" seafoods. if you buy frozen seafood, be sure to purchase unseasoned and preservative free products.

one thing that's generally recommended in the cichlid forums is to perform frequent large water changes in order to stimulate higher growth rates. if you felt really ambitious, then you could try changing out 30-50% twice a week.

you could try giving him Carnivore pellets aswell, I also recommend trying superworms (cut the head off as these guys can really bite, they chew threw the plastic containers I buy mine in!) other than that, the larger water changes 30-50% twice a week will help, also bumb the temperature to about 82F if your wanting him to grow quicker...

I saw the pic of your FH and I'm certain that the head wont grow

sweet you live in the OC. just take a drive to Total Tropical Fish and Pet in Monterey Park. i personally know the store owner and he has the best FH in socal. for something with a big head, the cost might range from 100-300 dollars so ya. most of the 3 inch FH will have a bigger kok than your current one

i found a FH shop that only sells FH top noch ones!!!!

i'll just a he 3 inch ones for like 35 bucks each!!!

and some of them has horns!!!

35, its probably gonna be a ZZ, which is extremely common...
common = unfun
get a kamfa or something

trust me cracker, Total has nicer fish, he has like 60 high quality ones coming in like every month.
