HI. IV BEEN KEEPING TROPICAL FISH FOR A YEAR OR SO NOW AND HAVE HAD VERY LITTLE PROBLEMS THAT I COULDNT DEAL WITH SO I THINK I BEEN QUITE SUCCESFULL UP TILL NOW. I GOT RID OF MY TROPICAL TO TRY WITH CHICLIDS BUT THEY ALL KILL EACH OTHER. WHAT GROUPS OF CHICLIDS CAN I PUT IN THE SAME TANK, WHICH ARE NOT TO BIG AS I DONT HAVE A LARGE AQUARIUM, AND WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TOO LOOK AFTER THEM.

THANX FOR ANY HELP

PS. I LIKE LOTS OF COLOURES

What size tank have you got and what type of Cichlids would you like to keep?

HI. NOT SURE WAT SIZE. THINK ABOUT 30 LITRES. IM NOT BOTHERED ABOUT HAVE ALOT. JUST EVEN A FEW GOOD LOOKING ONES. WILL UPGRADE TO BIGGER TANK WEN I KNOW WAT TO DO BEFORE I SPEND ALOTE OF CASH

i would go with tanganyikan species if you dont have a large tank.

try not to type in cap locks, its really hard to read
cool wat are they like. any pics?

30 litres is far too small for most Cichlids, I'm afraid.
You could keep a pair of Dwarf Cichlids like Apistogramma Cacatuoides but it will need to have plenty of plants and hiding spaces.

ps. iv got to krabensis just now and two east euro rams. how are they?

The tank is too small for Kribs but you might just get away with the Rams.
Like I said, a pair of Dwarf Cichlids or as Nim suggested, a pair of shelldwellers would be ok. It's far too small for much else. :/

30 liters? for ANY CICHLID???? are you insane?

a betta perhaps or a guppy or two but anything else would simply be cruel.

That's just your opinion.
I am of sound mind thank you very much and all my fish are cared for.
I've kept a pair of Dwarf Cichlids in a 30 litre tank for 8 months now and even had a succesful breed.
Why I'm even explaining myself to you is beyond me?!?!?!
