Hey everyone, I was wondering what kind of gourami's would be a good choice for a 25 gallon tank that is setup as follows:

2 Australian Rainbows
1 Blue Dwarf Gourami
1 Cory Cat

Im just looking for something to livin the color up a bit and not something aggresive.

I have read so many places not to put full size gourami species with the dwarf species, there must be a reason. Why not add some more Australian Rainbows for a school and not add any large gouramis?

Maybe add a couple of corys for company for the lone one. They really do better in groups, I found out by trial and error.

I have 2 juvenile female Pearl gouramis in a community 55g tank and they still nip each other. As large as they get, it would be unfair to a dwarf to have to deal with the chasing and nipping. The Gold in my 20g chases my corys at feeding time as well.

I did have anouther cory but it went MIA and I only have one now and my Australian Rainbows are 5 1/2 inches now so I wouldnt really be able to add any more fish after that even though I really like them.

Are their any other kinds of cool dwarf gouramis?

Or could I keep a regular gourami in their with it until it gets too big and then I can move my dwarf into the ten.

Well I think ill just get regular gouramis until they get too big that they dont get along with the dwarf which I can move to a 10 gallon but does anyone have any suggestions on what gouramis to get that might be able to get along with the dwarf but overall wont be too aggressive.
