What Kind Of Tail Is This Betta?

We have a female betta and I'm not sure if she is a veiltail, crowntail, or what. The picture is not the greatest, but you can definitely see her fins and tail. Even when she is flared, they are very pointy like they are in this picture.

well she's definately not a crown tail... if you got her from a local pet store, 99% chances are, shes a Veil tail. She's very pretty.

I wasn't sure because they did sell crowntails at the place we got her. I suspected she might be a VT, but not 100% positive.

I believe it's called a spade tail (which is just a variation of veiltail).

i would have to agree. she looks like a VT to me, a nice spade tail variety though (if i'm not mistaken).
