What Kind Of Pleco Is This?

hi all

just wondering if you can help me find out what plec i brought (i forgot to ask the pet shop when i got him/her). little about him/her it about 4/5 cm havent grown must since i brought it about 2/3 months ago. he/her is a good worker when it clean the glass and it started to chase the catfish around doesnt look like it trying to attack them, overall he is one lively plec and it funny just sitting by the tank watching him/her lol.


ps. he/her wont sit still for me to take a photo lol

You will need a pic, not alot to go by with the disciption lol

Price is usually a good indication, colour, current size but a pic would be best

he around 4/5 cm. the colour is light brown with dark brown spots on him. on his face where the common plecos have the tiny spot on there face he has bigger spot on his face. (i have already rule common plec out has i already got one in a 3 foot and looking for a new home for that one has it too big for the new tank i got) will try and get a pic of me new one and the older one so u can tell the different
 
Maybe a gibbicep?, without a pic it's really hard to even hazard a guess. Try get the photo and we can better identify for you :)

without seeing a pic, theres no way to tell, but just from a hunch, i'd agree with jen that it is likely to be a gibby, most commonly found plecs are commons and gibby's, and yours does sound like it fits a gibby's description
 
id say a gibby which is more common than a common plec lol i have a 12" gibby and a 5/6" gibby

that look like my plec that going to a new home tomorrow lol. then new one i am trying to find the breed off his spots mm away from each other. someone in our street said it could be a panda plec

i just look on the net and found a pic that is the same as my plec lol and it is a gibbicep. thanks for all the help
