What Kind Of Plant Is This?

So this plant was bought and I wasn't there and I don't know what kind it is. Here's a picture.

I really like it want wanted one too and wanted to know how to get one from the original tank. I should be able to get one because the reproduce somehow in the wild. So what are the basic steps to take care of it and how do I get my own from the original?

I'm not a plant expert, but I think this is the same as my Cambomba caroliniana, if it is the easiest way to grow large amounts is just to let it grow to a good length, cut it in half and plant the halves... I have a thriving bunch of this plant from doing that

Seems to be a Fanwort like you said. So when it gets about to the tank top I just cut half off, plant it and it'll grow on it's own? How would it grow without roots. Would it just grown its own?

Cabomba tends to prefer cooler water rather than warmer water.

Also, move the stems apart as they're more likely to rot if they're all bunched together like that
