Hi! I got 2 new angels to go in my 46g tank and am in love. They are just stunning. They are about 2 - 2.5" from nose to start of tail and 4, maybe 5" top to bottom. They're both colored the same - mostly black and white with orange up the nose and the dorsal fin. This picture doesn't do much justice to how pretty the orange is on them.

So - are they marbles, calicos or what color variation? I can't find much on calico angels so didn't know if they were an official color variety...

Are they veil or regular tailed?

Thanks, here's the picture:

What you have is a standard tail gold marble angel. He's a nice looking one at that. The term calico is often used to describe both koi and marbles. Congrats on your new additions. Im sure youll be more then pleased with them.

Thanks Ed. I'm very happy with both of them, they're gorgeous

I don't know what makes "quality" other than health so it's nice to hear he's a good looking one :p The 2 look very similar to each other. On this one, the black on his tail fin actually extends the bottom ray way out past the rest of the tail fin. You can see it a little in the pic, but not much. It's kinda cool!

Congrats :) I myself am buying two angels for my 46 gallon this weekend, I hope they look half as good as yours. Anyway good luck with them.
