Just got him a few days ago and he was in QT With 2 other. Looks like a hole in his side with intestines or something hanging out. Ideas? I don’t want the others to die.

Any ideas, Gang? I’m wondering if the others picked on him because he was already stressed.

The hole is probably from other fish eating it. As to what killed it, no idea. The colour is making it hard to identify anything. Maybe try taking pics of it in water so it doesn't have glare.

If there's other guppies in quarantine post pics of them too.

Guppies in pet shops usually have protozoa and bacterial infections. the first thing anyone should do with new guppies is quarantine them for a month and load the quarantine tank up with salt. Use 4 heaped tablespoons of salt per 20 litres (5 gallons) of water.

Thanks, Colin. I’ve already disposed of the corpse but will add salt. Appreciate the help. :rip:
